Kirkwood offers both private pay and Medicare Rehabilitation services on a short or long-term basis for those recovering from surgery, injury or illness. Care is customized to their individual preferences and needs in a compassionate environment with a higher ratio of caregivers to patients.

This high ratio of nurses to patients reflects our deep commitment to residents, this commitment becomes crucial to those needing 24 hour care and attention that goes beyond assisted living for issues such as respiratory or diabetic illness, Parkinson's, or long term illness requiring hospice care. This is also a commitment that goes beyond physical care. Daily activities such as musical concerts, sermons and special programs in our Magnolia Room revive spirits and lift hearts, and the bond between caregivers and patients proves daily to be the strongest medicine of all.
