Today we want to introduce to you, the Laurel floorpan from our new cottage home construction plan!
From our talented architect, Taylor Plosser Davis:
“The Kirkwood by the River campus serves as the location for the Cedar Ridge Cottage community, and its natural setting offers a unique combination of mountain landscape coupled with a convenient suburban location. As such, the design of the cottages echoes traditional mountain communities in the southeast, incorporating natural exterior finishes, such as stone and cedar, as well as views to the extraordinary landscape through screened porches, included on each model. Our Stay At Home survey earlier this year highlighted the need for having a place to be outside, and we are excited about how all of the units and the overall community plan prioritize our relationship to nature. We feel like residents will greatly benefit from those opportunities to be outside!”
We are very excited about this exciting expansion as well as the Laurel floorpan. This home includes:
764 Unconditioned Square Feet, 1320 Conditioned Square Feet, and 2084 Total Square Feet
2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms
1.5 Car Garage
Front Porch
Screened In Back Porch
We’re thankful to have such a talented group of locals on our project team – Taylor Plosser Davis in association with KPS Group, Stewart Perry, Schoel Engineering and Environmental Design Studio, Inc. Thanks to Mark Thompson of @ThompsonPlacemaking for this rendering of Laurel.
