Today we want to introduce to you, the Cumberland floorpan from our new cottage home construction plan!
From our talented architect, Taylor Plosser Davis:
“Richland is the third of Kirkwood by the River’s cottages in the Cedar Ridge neighborhood. In selecting finishes and fixtures for the cottages, we paid lots of attention to our users. As an Aging in Place specialist, part of TPD’s training involves selections of finishes designed to provide safer, “easier to operate” homes. As designers, we create palettes that are comfortable, elegant and stylish, inspired by the landscape and community setting. Hardwood floors are accompanied by a soft material palette that offers contrast to increase visibility of changes in surface. Bathrooms feature slip resistant tile and convertible cabinetry, as well as curbless showers with benches and convenient handshowers. Kitchens are appointed with low maintenance quartz counters, easy to use cabinet hardware, and appliances specially selected for convenience and style.”
This home includes:
- 713 Unconditioned Square Feet, 1627 Conditioned Square Feet, and 2340 Total Square Feet
2 Bedrooms - 2 Bathrooms
- 1 Office
- 2 Car Garage
Front Patio
Screened In Back Porch
We’re thankful to have such a talented group of locals on our project team – Taylor Davis of TPD Architect in association with KPS Group, Stewart Perry, Schoel Engineering and Environmental Design Studio, Inc. Thanks to Mark Thompson of Thompson Placemaking for this rendering of Cumberland.
