Our new independent living neighborhood, Cedar Ridge at Kirkwood, features charming, cottage-style homes perfectly situated in the heart of our 120-acre campus. Our first phase of Cedar Ridge at Kirkwood comprises 8 single-family residences, while phase two will add 10 additional cottages. These two-bedroom cottage-style homes feature open floor plans, natural light, a porch or patio for enjoying the wooded campus, a one-or-two-car garage, and a fireplace.

These beautifully appointed homes deliver authentic independent living. As a Life Plan Community offering the full continuum of care, Kirkwood’s independent living residents are not only free from the hassles of home maintenance, including repairs and yard work, but also free from the worry of how to plan for the future.

Our residents come from different backgrounds and bring their unique qualities, talents, and life experiences to complete the Kirkwood community. Here are just a few reflections from some individuals who call Kirkwood their home.

My time at Kirkwood was spectacular; they taught me how to walk again. The staff was outstanding, and the care was beyond reproach. When I arrived, I had a long way to go. I was very sick. The first night, they had to lift me as I could not move by myself. When I left, they were chasing me down the hallway. They taught me how to perform the activities of daily living again. It was the best care I could have prayed for, and on top of that, the food was spectacular.
