We are excited to share that our Marketing Director, Sandi Hall, was presented with the prestigious 2026 Emerging Leader Award at the 63rd Annual LeadingAge Southeast Convention & Exposition in Orlando! In addition to providing incredible support for senior living organizations, LeadingAge Southeast honors individuals each year who demonstrate exceptional leadership and visionary impact within the field of aging services across
Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi. To anyone who works with Sandi or calls Kirkwood home, this recognition is no surprise. It is a deserved celebration of her remarkable heart and her commitment to our community.
For the award presentation, Kirkwood residents and our President and CEO Chad Carter sat down for interviews to share firsthand accounts of what makes Sandi so extraordinary. Whether she is counseling families on the intricacies of senior living, spearheading campus-wide projects, or simply greeting residents with a smile, Sandi embodies the very best of what makes Kirkwood a family.
“She is a true servant leader,” Chad shares. “In my 28 years of serving in the senior living arena, I don’t think I have ever seen someone who brings such passion and care to what they do in a community.”
In Sandi’s acceptance speech, she said, “In a time when our voice matters, one
lesson in leadership that I have learned from my boss Chad Carter is that respect comes from actions, and what you do matters more than what you say.” That sentiment resonates with residents at Kirkwood as they note her compassion, kindness, and the time she takes to pause and get to know them better make all the difference in their retirement living experiences. Sandi’s greatest strength isn’t found in construction projects or marketing campaigns. It’s found in the relationships she builds.
We are beyond proud to see Sandi’s hard work, innovation, and leadership recognized on a regional stage. Please join us in congratulating Sandi on this incredible honor!
